Vic: Death of man whose body found on beach not suspicious

MELBOURNE, Dec 16 AAP - The death of a man whose body was found yesterday on a Melbourne
beach has been deemed not suspicious, police said today.

A couple found the body of a man while walking along Frankston beach, in Melbourne's
south-east, about 7pm (AEDT).

Police said yesterday it was the body of a Caucasian man and that the homicide squad
had been notified.

Today they said the death was not suspicious.

The cause of death would be determined by an autopsy, police said.

No further details were immediately available.
