Vic: Bracks in crisis mode, says Napthine
MELBOURNE, Feb 11 AAP - Sweeping changes to the Victorian government's ministry reflecteda premier in crisis mode, Opposition Leader Denis Napthine said today.
"I have never in my political experience seen a time when a premier in crisis modehas made so many changes to his ministry," Dr Napthine told reporters.
The changes showed Labor was in disarray, and the new team was not up to the task, he said.
"What we have seen here is more changes to the ministry than you would see with (AFLcoach) Kevin Sheedy on a bad day," he said.
"They have even brought on the interchange player but they have forgotten to take somebodyoff the bench," he said.
"What they have done is thrown the names in the air, the portfolios in the air andyou've come down with a scrambled egg."
Victorian Premier Steve Bracks announced the demotion of two underperforming ministers,Christine Campbell and Monica Gould, as part of sweeping changes.
