Fed: Crean recalls SAS Sgt Russell on Anzac Day
Opposition Leader SIMON CREAN has marked Anzac Day by recalling Australia's only casualtyof the Afghan campaign.
33-year-old Special Air Service sergeant ANDREW RUSSELL was killed when his vehiclehit a landmine in Afghanistan in February.
He left behind his wife KYLIE and new baby daughter LEISA.
Mr CREAN says Australians are today honouring all those who've served in war and peace,often at the cost of their lives.
He says the terrific thing about Anzac Day is the large number of Australians who stillhonour it, especially the young.
