Qld: Gunman in police shooting named
BRISBANE, Aug 23 AAP - Police have released the name of the gunman alleged to haveshot Caboolture Police Senior Sergeant Perry Irwin yesterday.
The man, who subsequently shot himself dead, was 21-year-old Damien Lawrence Coatesof Caboolture.
Homicide detectives are interviewing residents of nearby houses today.
